The Grand Bazaar
This is the largest bazaar of the world, and one of most famous. It was built little after the conquest of the city by Turkish and constitutes a true cave of Ali Baba. Built out of wood under the reign of Mehmet II Fatih (1461), increased under that of Soliman , set fire to in XVIème century, destroyed by a seism in 1894, it was rebuilt in 1898.
With more than 4000 shops and stalls, but also of the banks, coffees, restaurants and mosques..., With kilometers of lanes and an opened structure, it is a true labyrinth. As one is inserted in the mazes of the Large Bazaar, the discoveries multiply
